The sport branch of Mercedes celebrate 43 years of existence in a six-minute video. Moment of nostalgia.

AMG invite us on a journey through time with this video that traces the history of Mercedes sports industry. It all began in 1967 in a small workshop in which two friends Burgstall Hans-Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher decided to specialize in the preparation of race cars (Mercedes-Benz). Four years later their 300 SEL 6.8 AMG finished first in her class at the 24h of Spa-Francorchamps. This is the beginning of success for AMG that remains loyal to the star. The two companies join forces in 1988 in the field of competition.

The video focuses primarily on the action in it detailing the models designed and awards received. Ford will launch 15 models in China

Active Autowerke celebrates 30 years of love for BMW

Last March, Active Autowerke BMW enthusiasts gathered in Miami to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the preparer. The result is a little movie in HD.
ActiveAutowerke is a trainer based in Miami (Florida), on the southeastern tip of the United States. This “tuner” is exclusively dedicated to BMW and prepares this brand for three decades . Obviously, the preferred models remain the Motorsport series, already powerful and particularly appreciated by some Americans.
This video features two reworked M3 E92 by Active Autowerke. Originally, the V8 4.0L produce 420HP , here at Active Autowerke offers an extension of 200 hp via a compressor E9X. The handling is also treated by the addition of KW Variant 3 suspensions and Advan wheels.
Active Autowerke is also (and especially) a distributor of parts for preparation and has a very large network of stores in the United States.

For connoisseurs of sports cars , Saleen is primarily a manufacturer of prototype endurance. During the 24h of Le Mans 2010, won by a Saleen SR7 LMGT1 on behalf of the team Larbre Competition. Today, Saleen and SMS are separate companies.
In 2008, Steve Mark Saleen creates SMS Supercars , a company dedicated to the preparation of supercars. First on the list: the Ford Mustang 2011 V8 4.6L with two versions called 302 and 302 SC. For the 2012 Mustang model , SMS Supercars offers three different preparations distinguished by the names of colors: White, Yellow and Black.

The White Label, base model receives only a small body kit with the same engine of the 302 model from last year (440 hp) .
The Yellow Label announces 545 horses through a supercharging and is also equipped with 19 inch rims with tires dedicated.
The Black Label produce 575 horsepower, better calibrated suspension, full body kit, combo rims + tire and a custom leather interior. Black Label version without the supercharger is also on the agenda.

Aston Martin arrives in India

BMW Z4 GT3 is available

Aston Martin Vantage GT3

Aston Martin Racing has announced that its new racing car will be the Vantage GT3. Based on the sporty V12 Vantage, will be ready in 2012. The model will replace the GT3 DBRS9 Vantage, launched in 2006 in Le Mans.

Aston Martin has designed this model according to FIA regulations. The GT3 Vantage is constructed from aluminum technology Vantage VH with a 6.0-liter V12 engine and overall design is inspired by the V12 Vantage. The new car will have a semi-automatic transmission Xtrac cams and the latest ABS and traction control optimized.
The model will replace the GT3 DBRS9 Vantage, launched in 2006 in Le Mans and has since been amended to 26 times. His most recent triumph was in the GT in Australia at Mount Panorama in October last year, also achieved a podium in Zolder last week.
Aston Martin Racing has reached a maximum weight of 1250 kg and a power of 600 hp with a torque of 700 Nm. Ten units of this model will be ready for their clients for the start of the 2012 season.

Peugeot unveiled today more details and photos with the new concept car that it will present at Shanghai Motor Show 2011. Peugeot SXC is a modern crossover, athletic, strong and elegant by the manufacturer reaffirms its international ambitions, refining their skills to adapt to the specific expectations of each market.
In 2010, Peugeot unveiled its language evolving design through numerous concepts: SR1 (grand tour roadster), BB1 (city vehicle, 2.50 meters long, for four people), EX1 (2-seat roadster, 100% electric, which broke records for the acceleration in France and China), HR1 (city- car, innovative and ultra-connected). At the Shanghai Motor Show 2011 Peugeot stylists bring to public attention another category (crossover), which is becoming more popular in China. Peugeot SXC (Shanghai Cross Concept) is a new theme: the concept adopted certain features of the World of SUV’s (power, high position in the run, protection, etc.) without caricaturing them, inspired by modern style, elegant and refined, closer to the world upper saloon.
Peugeot SXC concept was created by international design team in China Tech Center , Shanghai. As a result, Peugeot has managed to implement a vision of easily recognizable style that is adaptable to different vehicle types, and different expectations of the market.

Peugeot SXC theme grid “floating”, which seems to be independent from the body, fits harmoniously with his stature.
